  1. I would like to be able to use Plug Spy on a Mac Pro or iMac. Although these systems do not have magsafe, the detection of unauthorized login is general to all systems. It would be a great addition to the software.

    Thank you.

  4. Hi Ray,

    Thanks for your feedback.
You can access the folder containing the snapshots easily by opening the Plug Spy menu and pressing the option key.
The entry “Show snapshots” will turn in “Open snapshot folder” to give you advanced functionality.

Let me know if you have any questions.

  5. Hi!

Is there a way to move the snapshots folder to my dropbox folder? Because if my laptop gets stolen, there is no point to have the pictures just in its hd, right?

In addition, I still did not managed to make it sound the alarm when the lid is closed. It sends me the boxcar message, but no sound comes out…

  6. Hi Julio,

you could use a symbolic link to make the screenshots accessible on your drop box account but I assume that it will take more than 15 sec until the image will be synced (sync start). 15 sec. is the time we are able to keep the Mac alive.
We will try to offer an option to make screenshots accessible in one of the next versions.

There is currently an issue with the sound on lid close. Apple has changed the behaviour and is muting any sound output immediately after the lid get closed. We are still hoping that Apple will return back to the previous behaviour but also work on another solution.
